Delete your account

You can permanently delete your CommonUnity account and the personal data tied to it. This cannot be undone.

Option 1 — In the app (recommended)

1. Open CommonUnity and sign in.
2. Go to Account settings.
3. Send a security code to your email.
4. Under Delete account, type DELETE, enter the code, and confirm.

Deleting your account removes your profile, RSVPs, reviews, support tickets, and events you created (where the system cascades those records). Some safety or legal records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

Option 2 — By email (if you cannot sign in)

Email support@commonunity.app from the address on your account with the subject Account deletion request.

Include:

• The email address used for CommonUnity
• A clear request to permanently delete the account
• Any username / display tag if you remember it

We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. We may ask for additional verification to prevent unauthorized deletions.

What we keep

We may retain limited information required for security, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations (for example anonymized aggregates or records of bans). See the Privacy Policy for details.
