CommonUnity is offered only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility criteria.
CommonUnity provides software to discover and signal interest in local gatherings and to display member trust signals based on participation. We do not organize, own, operate, supervise, or control in-person activities. Unless explicitly stated in the product, listings are informational. Organizers and venues are responsible for their own events.
We do not guarantee that any event will occur, that it will be safe, or that it will match its description. Event details may change or be cancelled without notice. You are responsible for confirming details with organizers and for your own decisions about attending.
Participation in any real-world activity involves inherent risks, including risk of injury, illness, property damage, or other harm. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending or participating in any event you learn about through the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that CommonUnity, its affiliates, directors, employees, contractors, and partners (the “Organization”) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service or attendance at any event, including personal injury or property damage, whether or not the Organization was advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Events may be hosted by third parties. Your interactions with organizers, venues, and other participants are solely between you and those parties. The Organization does not endorse any event, organizer, or participant. Any dispute you have with a third party is between you and that party.
Nothing in the app constitutes legal, medical, safety, or professional advice. Trust scores and reactions are informational only and do not guarantee behavior or outcomes.
You agree to provide accurate eligibility information and to comply with applicable laws. We may remove content or restrict access for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these terms or puts others at risk.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law. Material changes may require renewed acceptance for certain actions.
You understand that attending any event listed or discussed in CommonUnity is entirely your personal choice. You are not required to attend any event. You alone decide whether an environment, activity, and participants are appropriate for you.
You understand that CommonUnity (the Organization) provides a digital platform only. The Organization does not run, staff, insure, or supervise in-person events unless expressly stated for a specific official program. “Hosting” in the product refers to listing or surfacing information, not to operating the underlying activity.
You acknowledge that injuries, accidents, theft, disputes, or other incidents can occur at public or private gatherings. You agree that the Organization is not responsible for any such incidents and you release the Organization from claims arising from them, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If you have health concerns, consult a qualified professional before participating in physical or strenuous activities. The Organization does not assess your fitness for any activity.
By checking the acceptance box at registration, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this acknowledgment and agree to be bound by it together with the Terms of use.
